Each academic year, there are two non-instructional days set aside for campus-wide professional development. There are no scheduled classes those days, so faculty have the opportunity to focus on improving their skills as content experts and classroom instructors. Partnering with eLearning and SFCC’s CETL, the TLC offers a full day of professional development opportunities, and everyone on campus is invited to join the conversation. Zoom is available for all events.
For the 2022-2023 academic year, Campus Development Days are Monday, October 17th, and Tuesday, May 2nd. Details about the PD calendar will be shared out as soon as plans are underway, and if you have ideas about topics, please contact TLC Coordinator Angela Rasmussen.
