The VA requires notification to the School Certifying Official the student’s intention to use VA education benefits. To accomplish this, Spokane Community College’s School Certifying Official requires each student using VA education benefits to complete a Quarterly Enrollment Form (QEF) for each academic quarter you attend the school.
The QEF is not an option as we cannot process your certification for benefits to the VA without it. If you fail to complete the QEF in a timely manner, it could result in a delay of payments to the student from the VA.
Reminders:
- Only courses that are requirements for your declared program/degree here at SCC are eligible to be certified for VA benefits.
- If you need assistance selecting or registering for classes, please reach out to the Academic Counseling Center Counseling & Academic Advising (spokane.edu)
- Remedial classes (under 100-level) MUST be on campus to be approved for VA funding.
- You must report all changes to your schedule to ensure accurate reporting to the VA for benefits.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Andy Flanagan
