How to activate your Accommodation Plan

Activate your accommodation plan after you register for classes each quarter or any time you add or change classes. It may take up to 48 hours after registering, adding, or changing classes for changes to appear in AIM.

  1. Log in to our accommodation management portal, using the Current DAS Student Login. Sign in with your SCC Bigfoot email and password.
  2. Select the required e-form. Read through the e-form and then type in your name in the signature box to "sign" it. If you have multiple e-forms, they will all show up as the same document and you only need to sign one time.
  3. Once you have completed your e-forms, your accommodation requests overview will show up. Select the plus sign or "Add Requests for _ Classes". The classes that you are registered for will then show up.
  4. Select the classes that you would like accommodations in. Submit to activate your accommodation plan.
  5. You should now see how many classes have accommodation requests. You may select a class and modify the accommodations, as needed.

Depending on your accommodation plan, additional coordination may be required between you, DAS, course instructor(s), and/or the SCC Testing Center.

Your accommodation notification letters will be emailed to your course instructors with a copy sent to your Bigfoot email address the week before the start of the quarter, or immediately if the quarter has already started.

DAS recommends that all students contact their instructor(s) to discuss their accommodations at the beginning of the quarter, and/or at any point that changes are made to accommodations during the quarter.
