For Students

Scheduling and Locations

If you are taking an in-person exam for an online class at the Main Campus Testing Center, you must schedule an appointment ahead of time. Walk-ins are not available.

If you have approved testing accommodations through Disability Access Services (DAS) you must schedule through the AIM DAS Student Portal.

How to schedule:

  1. Visit TracCloud scheduling to reserve your seat. Check out our Scheduling with TracCloud PDF to learn how to get stated with TracCloud.
  2. Review your email confirmation to determine your assigned Testing Center location.
  3. Arrive 10 minutes early to check in and get settled before your test.

Testing Appointment Rules

  • Arrive early with a valid photo ID. You cannot test without a photo ID.
  • Bring only items allowed by your instructor. All other items must be stored in a locker we provide.
  • Late arrival:
    • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you may not be allowed to test
    • You may lose testing time
  • Cancel early:
    • Cancel at least 3 business days in advance
    • This helps other students use that testing time
  • Many no-shows or cancellations may require you to schedule with Testing Center staff

Thank you for helping us support all students.

Faculty Information

Proctoring for Online and Flex Classes

The Testing Center provides proctoring services for approved course modalities. Faculty must submit proctoring requests for the entire quarter by Day 10 of the quarter. Requests submitted after this deadline may not be accommodated.

Students taking in-person exams for online classes are required to schedule testing and may be assigned to one of two Testing Center locations based on availability and testing needs.

Course Modalities Eligible for Proctoring

Proctoring is available for classes with the following modalities:

  • Online Scheduled with In-Person (OW)
  • Online Asynchronous with In-Person (OB)
  • Flexible (FL)

Course Modalities Not Eligible for Proctoring

Proctoring is not available for the following modalities:

  • Online Scheduled (OS)
  • Asynchronous (OA)
  • In-Person (P)
  • In-Person Web-Enhanced (WE)
  • Hybrid (H)
  • Self-Paced (OZ)
  • Individualized Instruction (IS)
  • Other (Z)

Students in these modalities may qualify for exception testing only when extraordinary circumstances prevent them from testing with their class. Exception testing is limited and requires approval from both the instructional dean and the Director of Admissions and Registration. Faculty must submit the Proctored Testing Exception Form.
