Washington natives and freshmen, Johan Correa and Alma Manzo, represented Spokane with impressive performances at the Whitworth Invitational on March 25th - 26th. Leading the pack and finishing as top performers in multiple events, both Correa and Manzo earn NWAC Athlete of the Week for Track and Field. Many Sasquatch athletes set career-highs and NWAC leading marks on Thursday and Friday, March 25-26, at the two-day Whitworth Invitational and Combined Events Meet. This meet took place at the Pine Bowl on Boppell Track which also included a decathlon and heptathlon.

Community Colleges of Spokane head volleyball coach Jenni Hull stepped down this week. Hull has been the head coach for Spokane for the past 15 seasons. She has collected 3 NWAC titles including winning back to back titles in 2018 and 2019.

Spokane Volleyball capped off another unbelievable year with a three-set victory over Pierce College in the 2019 NWAC Championship match. Spokane was led in the championship by McKenna Russell with 15 kills and a .419 kill percentage and Lindsey Russell with 41 assists.
