Dee played golf for Coach Bob Everson at SFCC and has been selected to the CCS Hall of Fame. Dee was the NWAACC Tournament medalist as he led the 1980 Spokane men’s golf team to the NWAACC team championship and was named to the NWAACC All-Tournament First Team. Harris was the first Community College of Spokane golf athlete to win the individual title at the NWAACC Championships and he is the second male golfer named to the CCS Hall of Fame.
Roger played golf for Coach Bob Everson at SFCC has been named to the CCS Hall of Fame. Roger helped lead his 1979-80 golf team to the NWAACC title and was named to the NWAACC All-Tournament First Team. Wallace was the 1980 CCS season medalist and he won league tournaments at Mt. Hood and Columbia Basin College that year. After college, he became a golf professional and is currently the head professional at Polson Country Club in Polson, Montana. He is the first male golfer to be named to the Community College Hall of Fame as an individual athlete.
The 1979-80 men’s golf team coached by Bob Everson has been named to the CCS Hall of Fame. One of the best men’s golf teams to ever represent the Community Colleges of Spokane, they won the NWAACC Tournament for only the second time in CCS history. They had three players named to the NWAACC All Tournament first team, Randy Beutler, Roger Wallace (CCS season team medalist) and NWAACC medalist Dee Harris. The 1980 team won every two-year community college competition during the season including the Mt. Hood, CBC, WWCC and CCS Invitational and the four-year college EWU Invitational. Dee Harris has been named to the CCS HF as an individual golf athlete as he won the 1980 NWAACC individual title. Roger Wallace has been the head professional at Polson Country Club in Polson, Montana and he has also been named to the CCS Hall of Fame for his golf success. The six players on this championship team include Bob Jacobs, Warren Kragt and Carl Church as well as Roger Wallace, Randy Beutler and Dee Harris.
The 2001-02 men’s golf team, coached by Paul Tikker and assisted by Alan Jenkins and Christie Dalsanders, has been named to the CCS Hall of Fame. This outstanding men’s golf team won the NWAACC Eastern Region and the NWAACC Tournament. They turned back the challenge of Green River who finished in second place and Columbia Basin in third. In addition to winning the Eastern Region and the NWAACC Tournament, they won league tournaments at Green River, Treasure Valley and Spokane. They had two players receive DI scholarships. Souta Nozaka and Adam Syverson. Scott Kramer, Joe Finley, and Marty Nauert all went on to Whitworth to play. Jason Cox placed second at the NWAACC Championships and was selected to the All Conference team. The NWAACC championship team roster included Jason Cox, Joe Finley, Michael Hanson, Scott Kramer, Marty Nauret, Souta Nozaka, Adam Syverson, Jared Taylor and Kyle Trenholm. Scott Kramer has assumed the CCS Head Men’s golf coaching position following the retirement from coaching by Coach Tikker in 2008.
