Cap and Gown Pick Up
Caps and gowns can be picked up in Room 101 at the Adult Education Center, 2310 North Monroe Street, Spokane, Washington 99205 on the following dates and times ONLY:

There is no cost for caps and gowns.
When picking up caps and gowns, graduates will receive additional information about the commencement ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Graduates must pick up their cap and gown in advance.
- There is no limit on number of guests for each graduate.
- Graduates are expected to arrive by 5:30 pm for processional line-up, with their cap and gown.
- Students should bring only what they will carry throughout the ceremony. There is NOT a place to leave personal bags or belongings.
- Graduates are expected to participate in the complete ceremony, which should conclude by 7:30 pm.
Wheelchair accessibility will be available via ramp for students participating in the ceremony. Students needing assistance in walking or staying off their feet for an extended period of time are encouraged to let staff know when they check in.
Wheelchair seating for guests is available near the front of the stage.
Sign language interpreters will be positioned near the front of the stage.
Students participating in the ceremony will not receive their diploma during the ceremony. They will receive a diploma cover. Diplomas will be mailed out after completion of spring quarter, so we can verify students successfully completed their spring classes and credits needed for their program.
After Image Visual Services will be photographing each graduate at the commencement ceremony. Order forms will be available at cap and gown pick-up and at the ceremony. Proofs will be mailed and emailed to the addresses provided by the graduate and will also be available online within a few days of the ceremony at www.gradphotos.biz. In addition to photo prints and digital image downloads, customized plaques, tassel display frames, and various other photo products will be available to order. There is a charge to order photos.
