Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College will confer more than ­­­­2,700 degrees and certificates upon students at virtual graduation ceremonies Friday, June 18.

Hagan Center Diversity Dialogues for Spring Quarter

The SCC Hagan Center for the Humanities kicked off its spring quarter Diversity Dialogue series April 14 with a presentation by Carlos Gil, a retired University of Washington professor who taught the history of Latin America there for over 30 years. His talk explored Mexican immigration by spotlighting his own family’s history. Gil is author of a book “We Became Mexican-American: How Our Immigrant Family Survived to Pursue the American Dream” that traces his family’s history from the 1920s to the 1970s.

CCS Track & Field sets leading marks at Whitworth invitational

Many Sasquatch athletes set career-highs and NWAC leading marks on Thursday and Friday, March 25-26, at the two-day Whitworth Invitational and Combined Events Meet. This meet took place at the Pine Bowl on Boppell Track which also included a decathlon and heptathlon.
