Spokane Community College is committed to helping our students find options and opportunities to bridge the digital divide and promote student success. To do that, we have provided links to free and reduced cost internet access below. SCC Library also has a limited number of laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots ready for short-term student check out.

Laptops and WiFi Hotspots are loaned to students for a 7-day period.

EQUIPMENT CHECK OUT

Equipment (Laptops/Hotspots) is available to borrow for 7 days from the SCC Library on a first come, first served basis. If you are currently enrolled in classes at SCC and want to borrow equipment, visit the library checkout desk during our open hours with a current student ID card. You will be asked to sign a loan agreement form before borrowing.

EQUIPMENT RETURN

Equipment is loaned for one 7-day period. You will receive emails and a phone call after your due date as reminders to return the overdue equipment. If you do not return your equipment on time, you will be charged with the cost of replacing it, up to $1,500, and blocked from checking out further library equipment. Library staff will attempt to contact you and may take measures such as turning off the hotspot data if they are unable to reach you.

If you cannot return your equipment on time or have questions regarding laptop and/or hotspot checkouts, please email CircDesk.SCC@scc.spokane.edu or call 509-533-8255.
