I am so excited to be continuing my volleyball and academic career at SFCC! Sports have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but when I started playing volleyball in 7th grade, it instantly became my favorite. Throughout my high school career, I have participated in varsity athletics earning three letters in volleyball, four in basketball and four in track & field. In addition to multiple team awards over the years, I was captain of my volleyball team for three seasons and after receiving Big 9 All-Conference Honorable Mention as a sophomore, I earned First Team honors during both my junior and senior seasons as a setter. I also received Big 9 Honorable Mention recognition in basketball and was First Team and a state participant in track & field as a javelin thrower. My love for the game and watching my two older brother’s transition into college athletics made it easy to decide I wanted to continue my competitive volleyball career beyond high school. Meeting the coaches and (future) teammates during my visit to SFCC made it clear I wanted to continue my adventure as a part of the Sasquatch Volleyball family!

I am so excited to play volleyball and attend Spokane Falls as a sophomore this year! I have played volleyball since I was 10 years old on a developmental team. The next two years I played on the Sideout Volleyball Club team as an outside hitter. After that, I played with the legendary Irene Matlock for 5 years as mostly a middle hitter. Volleyball is a part of me. My mom, aunt, and cousin played volleyball in college, and it is something I have wanted to do since I was little. I especially wanted to go on and play with my two sisters, Lindsey and Allie. I am a three-year varsity letter out of Mead High School. My sophomore year I played right side hitter. My junior year I went back to being a middle blocker and was selected as GSL All-League Honorable Mention. Finally, senior year I was selected as GSL First Team All-League and All State Honorable Mention. I was a team captain my senior year, as well. In each of my three years of varsity experience at Mead, we were GSL champions, District champions, and Regional Champions. We made 3 state appearances in those three years and got 2nd in State twice, as well as 5th in state. I am excited for this 2019 season because I know this is going to be an unforgettable season filled with love, laughter, and competitive teammates. I chose to come and play at SFCC because I wanted to extend my volleyball career out of high school, and I wanted to stay close to home.
