Inchelium was relocated from an earlier site in the early 1940s. Old Inchelium had been located on the banks of the Columbia River before the construction of the Grand Coulee Dam

SCC Inchelium allows students the opportunity to gain certificate and transferrable credits without having to drive into Spokane. Classes are in a small setting and offer students hands-on experiences.

Inchelium's local job market includes agriculture, educational services, and public administration. SCC Inchelium works closely with all industry leaders to discover what education and training is necessary in making employees prepared and successful for work. Because 33% of Inchelium's population has some college experience, but no degree, SCC Inchelium looks to support students in finishing their schooling, so their options for employement can rise.
