Students are introduced to the basic concepts of cosmetology. Theories practiced include manicuring, pedicuring, haircutting, permanent waxing, hair styling, coloring, shampooing, rinsing, draping, and thermal styling. Prerequisite: COS 101 and concurrent enrollment in COS 112 or permission of department.
