Kevin Brockbank, president of Spokane Community College, has been selected by the Aspen Institute to join the 2020-21 inaugural class of the Aspen New Presidents Fellowship, a new initiative designed to support community college presidents in the early years of their tenure to accelerate transformational change on behalf of students.

The Boeing Company donated a 787 Dreamliner jet engine to the Spokane Community College Aviation Program on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019. The massive, 14-foot-tall, 17,000-pound gift is the first ever to SCC from Boeing, and the first of its kind in Boeing's history.
