Republic was founded by gold prospectors in the late 19th century! Gold is still an influence in Republic's economy today.
SCC Republic allows students the opportunity to gain certificate and transferrable credits without having to drive into Spokane. Classes are in a small setting and offer students hands-on experiences.
Kerrin Langford - Rural Counties Pathway Specialist
Kerrin was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and grew up in Southern California, where she spent 17 years in banking. Seeking a change, Kerrin moved back to Colville, WA, to be with her partner of 22 years, and now enjoys life on 40 acres. Since entering academia in April 2022, she’s developed a passion for nature, movies, health research, and is focused on giving back to her community and positively impacting youth. Despite having ADHD and Autism, Kerrin achieved a bachelor’s degree and two AA degrees and is now exploring her academic career to inspire others.
