Carpentry

This is an apprenticeship program which means you earn while you learn. This is a structured training program combining paid on the job learning with related classroom instruction. This allows apprentices to gain practical skills while earning a living wage with healthcare, retirement, and other benefits preparing them to become journey level workers. A journey level worker is a master in their trade, able to perform all required tasks to industry standards.

Carpenter Apprentices will complete 160 hours per year of related supplemental instruction training in everything from blueprint reading to building layout to finish work. Carpenter Apprentices must complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training to achieve Journeyman status.
