Cloud Computing

Learn how to configure and manage IT services via the internet. Cloud Computing is the delivery of computing services including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence in the cloud.

You will learn the tools needed to run infrastructure more efficiently providing faster innovation with flexible resources by implementing compute services over the internet, this program prepares you for many career fields in the rapidly growing technology industry.

  1. Learn cloud computing concepts and techniques that enable students to be lifelong learner as technology evolves.
  2. Understand and implement cloud computing services (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS & FaaS).
  3. Communicate with clients to configuring cloud, multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  4. Demonstrate how to integrate on-promise and cloud computing networks.
  5. Demonstrate responsibility for meeting deadlines and addressing client needs.
  6. Understand how technology relates and impacts society.
  7. Demonstrate professionalism and flexibility.
  8. Develop research skills and techniques.

The Cloud Computing program trains students to deploy secure computing services, including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence, over the Internet ("the cloud") to provide flexible and scalable IT resources. Graduates from this program acquire problem solving skills, are encouraged to work independently and as a team, and be ethical in all interactions.
 
Goals
The Cloud Computing program prepares students to use cloud computing resources to provide easy, scalable access to computing resources and IT services.
