Fine Art Gallery

The SFCC Fine Art Gallery, is an educational gallery which features work by regional, national and international artists, working in a variety of media, these include drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, installation, video and performance.

We are dedicated in bringing traditional and nontraditional exhibitions to the Spokane area. Professional artists are invited to exhibit for solo or group exhibitions. Artists who exhibit often provide a PowerPoint presentation, a demonstration of their process or a workshop, in order to further inform the viewer about their work. Each year during spring quarter, the gallery exhibits work by the graduating fine art students for a three-week period prior to graduation. Every three to four years SFCC faculty exhibit their work either in a solo or group exhibition.

In addition to our gallery exhibitions, we feature the “Visiting Artist Lecture Series.” The lecture series invites artists, critics and curators from around the world, loosely linking them by theme of a particular interest. This series is provided with funding from a consortium; Spokane Falls Community College, Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga University's Jundt Art Museum. Additional funding for this series is provided by the Sahlin Foundation.
