Food Bank
Located in Building 17, room 139. The food bank is open over summer break. All students enrolled for Summer and those registered for Fall can access the pantry during the break (August 24 - September 18). The Food Bank is open by appointment only. To schedule a pick up time, students will need to fill out this form. Pickups are scheduled for Tuesdays only.

Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is open with increased restrictions/guidelines.
- Mask required except for times during exercises.
- Locker rooms and showers are closed.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
Weight Room Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Library
Access the Library in Canvas
The SFCC Library has a new canvas shell that provides comprehensive library information in one convenient location. The canvas shell highlights all the library’s most used services with up-to-date information on checkout procedures, course reserves, weekly workshops, and how-to instruction on accessing resources, such as databases, the catalog and more.
Hours
- Library Building (physical space): Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Please note, that the library is open for checkout services but not available as a study space.
- 24/7 Chat with a Librarian.
- Library Computer Lab: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The computer lab and printing is available but must adhere to social distancing protocols.
Circulation Services
Technology Check-out:
- Laptops and hotspots may be checked out by currently enrolled SFCC students for the entire Fall 2020 quarter. Please note there are a limited number of hotspots.
- Technology check-outs are on a first come, first serve basis.
- Technology check-outs for Fall 2020 begin Monday, Sept. 8. All check-outs between September 8 and September 18 are by appointment only. To make an appointment or for more information please call 509-533-3805 or email circ@sfcc.spokane.edu.
Course Reserves
- The library has many textbooks (not all) and other course books available for students to use.
- Most course reserve items may only be checked out for two hours in-library use only.
- Patrons cannot place holds or “reservations” for coursereserves.
The library staff member will get the course reserve item (if available) and check-out the item to you using your student ID with the current quarter sticker. You must wear a mask and disposable gloves to check-out course reserves.
Book/DVD Checkout
The library shelves are not open for browsing but books and DVD’s are available per request. Just visit our library catalog and put an item on hold and the library will notify you when it's ready for pickup.
Computer Lab
- The computer lab will be open but availability will be limited based on space requirements due to social distancing, and students will be responsible for cleaning computer stations.
- Printing, scanning and ADA accessibility computers will be available.
- There is no access to study rooms and any group meetings will have to adhere to social distancing standards in predefined areas.
