If you enjoy travel and learning about new places, studying geography could help you map out your perfect career.

In this program, you’ll explore different places and cultures in the world through the study of where things are, how they got there and their relationship to the earth. You’ll learn about various regions through topics such as weather, landforms, animal and plant life, cultures and pollution. You’ll also go on field trips to geographic landmarks in the area, like Mount St. Helens, mining sites, bird sanctuaries and the Columbia Ice Fields.

With a background in geography, you can pursue a broad range of careers paths, from teaching and urban planning, to hydrology and forestry, to GIS computerized mapping.
