Spokane Community College is committed to bridging the digital divide for its students. To do that, we have provided links to free and reduced cost internet access below. SCC Library also has a limited number of laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots ready for student check out.

Laptops and WiFi Hotspots are loaned to students for a one week loan period.

EQUIPMENT CHECK OUT

Equipment (Laptops/Hotspots) check out is available in the SCC Library on a first come, first served basis.  If you are currently enrolled in classes at SCC and want to check out equipment, visit the library checkout desk during our open hours. You will be asked to sign a loan agreement form before check out.

EQUIPMENT RETURN

You are able to renew your equipment one time by calling the library, stopping by in-person, or by logging into your library account. After that renewal, you'll need to come to the library so we can return the equipment, run updates and check for damage, and check it out to you again, if you'd like. You will receive emails before the due date and phone calls after the due date, as reminders. If you do not return your equipment, you will be charged with the cost of replacing it, up to $1,050, and blocked from checking out further library equipment.

If you cannot return your equipment on time or have questions regarding laptop and/or hotspot checkouts, please email CircDesk.SCC@scc.spokane.edu or call 509-533-8255.
