At SCC we want to celebrate your achievements and give you opportunities to develop your leadership skills while giving back to the community. As advisors for the Beta Epsilon Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), we hope you'll strive to join the ranks of fellow students who live out the mission of PTK.
Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold:

1.    Recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students
2.    Provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming

If you achieve a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher in at least 15 credits, you will be invited into our community of scholars.

In addition to the opportunity for community service and leadership development, you will enjoy a number of advantages by joining PTK. For example, you will be eligible to compete for 37 million dollars in scholarships available exclusively to PTK members.

Other advantages include letters of recommendation for transfer and employment, honor stoles to wear at graduation, and the opportunity to give back to your school and community. These are just a few of the benefits that are available to you as a scholar from 900 two-year colleges across the United States and Canada.
We look forward to serving with you, so work hard and make it happen!
