PACE Academy is a Pre-Employment Transition Services program for students attending contracted high schools. Topics covered include Workplace Readiness and Self-Advocacy Training, Work-Based Learning, and Individual Work-Based Learning Experiences. PACE Academy occurs during the academic school year in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
To attend, students must be between the ages of 14-21 with an IEP or 16-21 with a 504 plan. School participation must be set up through a DVR Regional Transition Consultant.
For the 2020-2021 school year, PACE is offering virtual Workshop Wednesdays to all eligible students on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Topics will include Workplace Readiness Training, Self-Advocacy Training, and Individual Work-Based Learning Experiences.
