Students must be able to access and navigate the campus independently, take care of personal care and medications needs, be 18 years of age or older and follow the student code of conduct agreement.
Students learn about child growth and development, curriculum development, behavior management, medication management, child abuse mandatory reporting, importance of play, food safety and proper sanitation procedures. Class content is taught in lecture, video and role playing format and coverd topics related to infants, toddlers and the young child.
